How to become licensed in Colorado - I have had many people ask me how do you become licensed in Colorado. Well here is the link to all the information you will need to become a licensed provider for Colorado. This link is to show you all the steps to get your childcare license if you decide that this is a career choice for you as I love what I do and I know that there is always a need for childcare and it is such a wonderful thing to see more people that can provide that safe & fun environment of fun for kiddos. If you have any questions on paperwork or need help with getting set up just let me know. If I have the time to spare, I will spare it helping others.

Colorado Preschool Program Contact person: Sharon Johnson 970-613-5761 sharon.johnson@thompsonschools.org.
I am always encouraging that any child that is between the ages of 3-5 yrs of age that attends my childcare or not should look into the structured preschool program to support in kindergarten readiness for them. This program can be in addition to attending my home or you may choose to use my preschool program for the school year.
This is a wonderful program and I absolutely love it. They run this program with a morning and afternoon class down the road at Edmondson's cottages off to the east of the school. They will bus to and from my house so if your child is at my home for childcare this is a great way to get the preschool in along with your child having the home environment to kick back in until you are off of work.
***QUALIFICATIONS*** If you qualify for The Colorado Preschool Program it is free so it would be worth the while to check into it. To qualify they will look into income to see if you qualify and if you don't qualify because you make too much they will look into your child's ability to see if they need this extra support. If you do not get into this program do not get discouraged as I operate a preschool program during the school year just ask me about it! I unfortunately do not provide the transportation to and from the Edmondson Preschool so you would be responsible to making sure they get to and from the preschool via the bus or you driving them.
